The Painter’s Ikat is a collection of hand-painted lampshades by Elizabeth Rose, translating the broken edges and shifting rhythm of traditional ikat into expressive painted marks.

Each design is painted freely by hand on cream artist card. Colour overlaps, edges soften and individual brushstrokes remain visible, giving every shade its own character while retaining the distinctive rhythm of the collection.

Made to order
Each shade is individually hand-painted in Elizabeth Rose’s Dorset studio. Because every piece is created by hand, subtle variations in brushwork and placement are intrinsic to the design.
